Jack of all Trades :: When thumbs are set very low in the hand, the subject indicated is a Jack of all trades and master of none.

Jaundice :: Mount of Mercury exaggerated. Mount of Mercury much lined. A spot or star on the Mount of Moon.

Jealousy :: A long Line of Heart. A high Mount of Moon. A Girdle of Venus.

Judge's Hand :: Good Head Line. Long conic fingers. A wide Quadrangle. Long first phalanx of Mercury. Good Mount of Apollo. Straight Jupiter finger.

JUPITER :: This is situated at the base of the index finger, above the Heart Line and above the Mount of Physical Mars. It represents devotion, potential, leadership, organisation and authority.

JUPITER :: Jupiter is the Guru-Pattern of the demigods-deities. It shins like a star being a ball of burning gases. This is ten times the size of earth. Its impact over one's character, luck is tremendous. This is situated at the base of the index finger, above the Heart Line and above the Mount of Physical Mars. It represents devotion, potential, leadership, organisation and authority. The Mount of Jupiter is said to be very helpful in life and moves the person towards progress. If the Mount of Jupiter is well developed and prominent, then such a person is said to possess godly qualities, virtues, piousness, righteousness, honesty, truthfulness, asceticism etc. Such persons try to save their self-respect. They are learned and are always prepared to help others. They don't get disturbed under difficult conditions. A Judge should possess a prominent Jupiter. Persons in authority do have this build up in their hands.

If the Mount is less prominent or under-developed, shifted, then there is a general deficiency of the above qualities of the person. Physically such persons-people are of ordinary body, healthy and have smiling faces. They are experts in delivering lectures. They are kind at heart. They are more inclined towards attainment of respect and good reputation rather than wealth. They have a soft corner for the opposite sex.

If the Mount is exaggerated the bearer is found to be selfish, proudy-egoistic, self centred. 

If the Mount is depressed, under developed, then there is want of self-respect in the bearer. He get very little patronage from his parents. They are found in the company of lower, class people, bad company.

Jupiterian Type :: A person with the Mount of Jupiter predominant is called the Jupiterian. He is ambitious but a very pleasant person. He is expansive, may be gay and self-confident. He is strong and well-built. He is basically honest. He has an idealistic attitude towards life. The Jupiterians are born to command. They are excellent leaders in business, politics and army.
